Yellow and grey are the PANTONE Color of the Year 2021.

The American Pantone Color Institute has identified two primary hues for 2021: upbeat yellow (PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating) and a calming grey (PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Grey). They are intended to deliver a message that is both timeless and inspiring—one of strength and hope.

The Pantone hue called Ultimate Grey is reminiscent of weathered mountain slopes and beach stones. This color symbolizes strong, dependable, and ageless components that build a firm foundation.

By "stimulating feelings of equanimity, stability, and resilience," Grey uplifts us. On the other side, illuminating is characterized as a sunny, brilliant yellow that sparkles with vitality and is a comforting shade that is brimming with solar energy. Together, they are especially pertinent in a society where individuals are searching for hope, energy, and self-assurance.
